When you see yellow flags do not ignore them. They are triggers. Triggers that let you know what your boundaries are. If you believe you are deserving of a certain type of behavior KNOW you are worthy of it as well!
Stop allowing people to walk over top of you and disrespect your intelligence. What you feel and think matters!
For years I didn’t understand the concept. I knew when something bothered me but chose to ignore the things that screamed RUN! As time went on, still stuck in the situation, I began to be resentful. I began to loose myself. I began to notice more things which only made the situation worse for me. Before I realized it I was in to deep and I hardly recognizable. When I acknowledged I was at a bottomless pit I snapped out of it.
My advice to you is to not let the mindsets of others, their lifestyle choices and actions manipulate you into thinking what you know to be true is just a figment of your imagination. Because it is NOT. The fact you are uncomfortable is motive enough to make you MOVE. If you feel something isn’t right chances are they aren’t.
